Opening the doors of trust
We have learned from the ego to associate the word commitment with obligation and lack of freedom.
To understand the deep meaning of commitment is important to clarify the picture and unlearn what is not part of commitment.
Commitment is not an obligation or an imposition, it does not limit, it does not blame, it does not take away freedom, it does not manipulate or control.
When someone has to do something by “obligation”, implies taking action against their own will. This means that the action is triggered by fears or limiting internal information, which the ego masks as external agents that “impose”.
We talk about manipulation when we blame others for the decisions we make. This is another disguise the ego uses. In reality, it is not that others manipulate us but rather we are manipulated by the decisions of others. The ability to decide, which also includes inaction, belongs to every person whether these decisions are taken from a place of fear, ignorance or wisdom.
Someone who has not committed because of the idea of losing his/her freedom is someone who cannot do anything with perseverance because as soon as he/she feels that there is a responsibility (which confuses with obligation) he/she seeks for escape.
Someone no grants freedom; freedom means taking responsibility for our own decisions and the outcomes we get as a result of it.
Threats arise as a result of preventing others from taking their own decisions and from not knowing how to take responsibility for the feelings associated with fear.
Lack of understanding of the dynamics of ego and of how the universe works create fear in front of the word commitment. Wisdom is much simpler than what the ego has created for him.
Commitment opens the doors of trust because the commitment has to do with self-responsibility, learning, respect, value and being consistent with what is thought, it is said and done.
When we talk about commitment from a space of consciousness, we speak of a conscious and voluntary decision to give the best of ourselves, to share our internal values without restriction and without any condition, to complement others’ lives with our own values or to allow flow and unwrap things in certain ways.
There is always compensation or acquired rights as a result of commitment. This is a universal dynamic that allows everything to be in permanent flow and evolution.
One who commits is someone who believes that commitments do not take away freedom but complement his/her life because freedom is an inner experience. Freedom is the ability to make decisions and to take responsibility for the results generated knowing that any result is feedback that life puts in front showing that there is something to learn or be learned.
100% commitment generates a 100% satisfaction for both parts, the one that generates it, and those around. Someone who is truly committed to his/her own success constantly aims to improve his/her conditions, physical, mental and spiritual.
We are creators of our own reality so if you share your limitations instead of your internal values, the results presented in your life are the results of ego limitations, frustration, fear, anxiety, stress, suffering, etc. If you share freedom, peace, happiness, and love, the results are exactly the same correspondences.
Someone who accepts welcomes and appreciates the perfection of the present takes advantage of every situation and every person around, to give the best of him/herself. He/she is ready to move forward to the next level because they are committed to their life and their own process.
The universe as a perfect gear, and by law affinity group is responsible for the energies of the same characteristic. Whoever aspires to live a life fulfilled with peace, happiness, and love, knows how to generate this energy and commit to it, in order to attract the same kind of frequency.
